Attachment. Here's another example of an email scam out there for job seekers. This comes from an email I received today. Some key observation points as to how you can tell this is fraudulent:

  1. The To: email address doesn't match my email account.

  2. The From: name doesn't have any resemblance to the actual email account.

  3. There is no mention of the company.

  4. There are no hyperlinks.

  5. The email is "Sent from my iPhone"

  6. They request your phone number. (This means they don't have your contact information or resume).

  7. Searching for the email address on Google putting the address in quotes resulted in the top link being to Scams and Spam.
