If you receive a phone call from Eric at phone number 650-396-7042, it is a scam.

The message will say: "Hi <name> This is Erik. I'm calling about your resume so please call me at your convenience at 65039677042. Thank you know I'll be waiting for your call. Bye."What are they really up to?  Check out the answer from WhoCallsme.com:

The # is from WIN in Moutain View, CA.  They are looking to sell you on buying their program to find a job.  They want only candidates seeking $150K.

Four tip offs that this is not a real job:

1.  They don't tell you where they got your resume.

2.  They say nothing about having a job.

3.  They say nothing about the company.

4.  The phone number is not local.

It's unfortunate that in the US, unlike France, any business can call you without your permission.  As a result, the only protection you have it to be ever vigilant for scams, schemes, and fraud!
