I recently found idealist.org and was impressed by the site. Not only are there lots of jobs posted, but there are also volunteer opportunities. Volunteering while out of work helps keep your skills sharp, and also makes you a more interesting person when you are out interviewing.
One additional site worth mentioning is Bridgestar, http://www.bridgestar.org/. This is an initiative of Bridgespan, and its goal is to find leaders for non-profit organizations.
