Gandhi
was an inspired thinker who really got it right with this list. All of
the things on his list are contributing to the sad state of the world
today, especially here in the United States.
The Seven Blunders of the World is a list that Mahatma Gandhi gave to his grandson Arun Gandhi, written on a piece of paper, on their final day together, not too long before his assassination. The seven blunders are:
- Wealth without work
- Pleasure without conscience
- Knowledge without character
- Commerce without morality
- Science without humanity
- Worship without sacrifice
- Politics without principle
---
What other blunders would you add that relate to employment, careers, and hiring? For example,
- Work without Benefits
- Work without Pay
- Employment without security
- Layoffs without responsibility
- Business without morals
- Words without meaning
- Interest without commitment
What others would you add?
