Nick StockHaus lands at SMART Modular Technology in Tewksbury!

Hello Fellow Networkers,

I'm pleased to announce that I have accepted a position with SMART Modular 

Technology in Tewksbury, MA as a Systems Engineer. I shared my landing story 

(and donuts!) with the Hopkinton group last week. I had been out of work for 

almost 10 months and actually was fortunate enough to have 2 job offers come in 

at the same time. The other offer was to go back to my old company Seagate 

Technology in a reduced role.

While out this past year I had 7 interviews, of which 6 were obtained through 

networking contacts. While I didn’t land this job from a networking contact at 

Hopkinton or Acton, the value for me in these meetings has been to keep me 

motivated this past year. I also found that belonging to a smaller buddy group 

has kept me focused on the job search as well. 

I wish you all the best of luck in your job searches, and don’t forget it is not 

a matter of “if” you will find a job, it is a matter of “when”!
