Deb Sheets Lands at AS&E through a Monster Job Fair. Read How She Did It!
Hi Dan,
I attended Monster's job fair in May. I met the corporate recruiter from AS&E and although we seemed to click, he wasn't sure if I was overqualified for the position. Several wks later, I receive an email asking, do you remember me? I think that my experience in the security field w/GE got their attention.
Just a couple of things to share, the Monster job fair had the best (for me) quality of exhibitors (and I made a point of stopping at each booth) and I liked the table setup for attendees to research and apply on line. The only disappointment was that there were several exhibitors that didn't attend their booth.
After being out of work 19 months, it's a relief to have a company that feels like a good fit. This has been one of the most challenging times of my adult life. Here's the good news - the down time allowed me to open up and develop new relationships, renew my passion for jewelry design, and realize that my purpose is in serving others. The possibilities are endless, just go out and do it.
Thank you for being so generous with your time, your knowledge and your stories.
Best,
Deb Sheets
