Hello All,

I have accepted a position as a Water Treatment - Chemical Process Operator at Crown Cork & Seal.
This position is an Excellent Fit for Job Benefits, Location, and Duties. The people (HR, EHS, Production & Mfg) I talked and interviewed with here were simply the best I've met for being informative and open.

- After working 28 years for the same company I was out of work in April 2009.
I immediately started outplacement training and relearned how to resume, market, and research for work.
I decided on a new career focus using my outplacement training, preferences, work outlook, and some of my previous work experience in *Filtration - Water & Wastewater Treatment*. 12/09 I completed a series of additional training, certifications, and higher licensing to make myself more hire-able at better pay.
The best work research and searches I used were *Trade* associations, memberships, on-line subscriptions, and the class room trainers and trainees. The better cross links for me were NEIWPCC, MWPCA, WEF to simplyhired, indeed, jobquest, monster.
Before Christmas and into New Year 2010 I had 4 Hot job prospects calling and was interviewing.
EVENTUALLY one offer was low, one decided not hire anyone, one decided no and then changed their hiring positions titles down to Interns, and one was still maybe active. As these prospects dragged out I started more networking to:

1) Meet more contacts for better research on employment and employers
2) Structure and Even out the Up and Down of working for work.
1) & 2) This is where our ActonNetworkers is a Big Lift!

 "My 2 Cents"
You have to figure out what is best for you.
The biggest favor I did for myself was surrounding myself with Nice People.
If I can't help myself I will feel better by trying to help someone else.
I can help someone else feel better by letting them try to help me (even when I don't want help).
Try not to take the  latest adventures too seriously.
This is what I work on to keep my outlook up, which other people read and feel off you.
Some gaffs and mistakes I made got me way better results than from being 100% proper and pretty.

    Thanks AN,

    Bruce Morriseau
