Our
healthcare client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to assist on
the NextM application of their EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Index).
Job Description:
Develop expertise regarding NextM application, software, and interfaces
Participate in the development and/or execution of:
-
Functional requirements (specifications) for software enhancements -
NextM system testing/quality assurance -
Troubleshooting and Support of EMPI/NextM -
User and/or support documentation -
On-call responsibilities 24/7 (rotation)
Qualifications:
1-5 years’ experience in computer systems or health care
Excellent communication and written skills
Strong PC skills including knowledge of PC applications, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite
Soft Skills:
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to respond to issues involving multiple sites and points of contact
Ability to work both as a team player and independently
Self-motivated, shows initiative, able to learn quickly
Ability to build consensus through negotiation and diplomacy
Ability to understand a matrixed work environment and its competing priorities
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work accordingly
