Amazon.com is seeking to fill 50 job openings in the Boston area, according to a report from Xconomy.
The firm has listed the jobs for locations in Boston, Cambridge and Woburn, the report says. The Woburn site is the location of warehouse robotics firm Kiva Systems, which Amazon bought this year for $775 million.
In conjunction with the announcement that Amazon would begin collecting sales tax in Massachusetts in late 2013, the Seattle-based company said it has plans to create hundreds of jobs in the Bay State in coming years.
Along with at Kiva, Amazon is seeking to create jobs for its Amazon Web Services arm; in digital products; and in daily deals, according to the Xconomy report.
