Hiring an Account Manager: Outside B2B Sales in Boston, MA

The Account Manager will have prior B2B sales experience and will be tasked with developing new and growing existing client relationships.   The goal will be to build loyal relationships that generate reoccurring revenue streams.  Working closely with new prospects, existing clients and internal peers, you will work to fully understand their business and technology initiatives so we can deliver the most appropriate consulting talent.
 
Some of the tasks the appropriate candidates will perform are:

» Conducting sales calls, both by phone and in-person as necessary to generate business opportunities. 
» Ability to meet company activity and sales expectations. 
» Researching, identifying and cultivating companies that utilize outside staffing firms. 
» Ability to successfully access multiple sources and execute aggressive lead generation techniques. 
» Strong negotiation skills.  
» Active involvement in local networking groups. 
» Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute plans. 
» Professional presentation and ability to interface with clients. 
» Dedicated, hard working and a passion for success.  
» Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 
» Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

REQUIREMENTS: 

» Must have at least one year of b2b sales experience in a hunter/farmer role
» Proven success in ability to close contracts and build effective customer relationships.
» Proven success in client/account prospecting.
» Ability to turn information gathering and client meetings into new sales opportunities.
» Computer savvy to track customer account activity.
» Ability to stay current on technical needs of your accounts.
