The road to economic recovery has been bumpy. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 47 states had a lower unemployment rate in June, compared with the same month a year earlier, but the national unemployment rate hasn't changed much over the past few months, causing some job seekers to get discouraged.

Good news: CareerBuilder's latest companies hiring report shows that jobs are available. The new list includes companies that are not only hiring, but hiring in large volume. More than 19,000 positions at 13 companies are featured, covering a wide range of industries and occupations. Some companies are even hiring in the thousands.

"Recent job reports have reflected the ongoing struggle employers have had in a tough economic climate," says Matt Ferguson, CEO of CareerBuilder. "Although employers are cautious, they continue to invest in growing their businesses and their employee base. We're seeing an upward trend in job listings for everything from information technology, retail and financial services to health-care and energy-related fields."

Read on to see the 13 employers who are hiring, the number of openings at each company and the types of jobs available.
