Human Resource Manager
Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts
Position Overview:
The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for leading a team of HR professionals and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Chelmsford contact center location. The Manager will oversee all HR related areas including employee relations, recruiting, performance management and administration.
Additionally, the HR Manager ensures that strong relationships with employees are built and maintained, while offering proactive services both in their site and company-wide.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate and partner with supervisors and managers on all HR related issues
Advise and support Generalist on routine employee relations matters as need
Act as subject matter expert in the areas of FMLA, ADA and Disability to support Generalist with leave administration
Manage escalated employee relations issues to successful resolution. Escalated cases may include the investigation of harassment claims, non-routine disciplinary actions and terminations, medical leaves and accommodations and mediating employee concerns
Analyze employee and operational data to proactively identify areas of concern; collaborate with operational leaders to address and prevent issues, as well as develop and implement action plans as appropriate
Work with cross-site HR counterparts to plan strategy and projects critical to organizational success
Participate in evaluating, managing and implementing company-wide Human Resources projects such as policy updates, career path planning, HRIS enhancements and performance management program
Act as HR representative on project teams to support cross-functional operational projects as prioritized by internal business partners
Understand employment law and ensure compliance to regulations and legal standards across all HR functional areas. Develop and implement processes to support this as needed to ensure long-term compliance.
Support the execution, delivery and facilitation of employee on boarding of new employees as well as other corporate training programs
Manage and develop HR support staff
Oversee the HR administrative function for Chelmsford site and ensure team has records and files updated and accurate. Participate in client audits as HR representative as needed
Oversees end to end recruiting process, including requisition management, sourcing, screening, selection and on-boarding of new employees

Highlights basic tenure, knowledge and education required for the role
BA/BS degree preferred with 7 - 10 years progressive experience in Human Resources leadership role, including supervisory experience.
SPHR/PHR (Senior/Professional in Human Resources) certification preferred
In depth knowledge and understanding of applicable state and federal laws, particularly the FMLA and ADA
Subject expert in employee relations; ability to manage employer/employee relations under stressful situations where problem-solving and quick good judgment is essential.
Experience in all functional areas in HR including but not limited to the leave management, recruitment, benefits, compensation, and employment legislation.
