Newton-based Activate Networks Raises $1M

Newton, Mass. – Activate Networks, a Newton-based, network analytics company, has raised $1 million in venture capital, according to a new filing by the company with the SEC. Founded in 2009, Activate identifies social connections that drive commercial and organizational results. It maps and analyzes networks across a range of industry verticals, supporting marketing campaigns, health-behavior change programs, talent management, innovation, among other activities. Lawrence G. Miller, founder of Activate Networks, is a co-founder and partner at Mediphase Venture Partners.
