Cambridge, Mass. – Wingu, a Cambridge-based developer of software for the pharmaceutical industry, has raised its first round of venture capital, which was led byGoogle Ventures and Borealis Ventures. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2009, Wingu offers software designed to enhance the operational efficiency of pharmaceutical research and discovery. The software optimizes R&D by tracking and coordinating complex distributed research projects that require tight integration between pharmaceutical companies and partners.
