Introduction:

Using an RSS feed aggregator like Sharpreader or
even your web browser can help you see jobs as they appear on the job
search sites. You don't have to worry about manually visiting each site
to see if new jobs have been posted, they will automatically be sent to
the RSS feed reader. Here are some of the best Job search sites with RSS
feeds.

Indeed.Com

Indeed is a great resource for job seekers. It has a
host of tools to hep you locate a new job or your dream job. You can
build your own custom RSS feed using a simple query. Read more in the
resources area. Here is a sample feed URL searching for all sales jobs
in Albuquerque, NM.
Simply replace the sales with your job position and the city with yours.

Careerbuilder

CareerBuilder is one of the best job search engines
out there. Many newspapers have replaced their online classified
sections with a link to CareerBuilder. Here is an example of a feed from
CareerBuilder looking for all jobs in Canton, OH.

CareerBuilder has an extremely friendly RSS feed builder on their site. See the resources section for a link.

Monster.Com

To build an RSS Feed on Monster.com, switch to
classic job search mode and type in the parameters in the standard job
search fields. Then click on the RSS Feed button. It will build the
custom query for your search. For example the RSS URL built when I
searched for Paralegal jobs in Portland Oregon was:
http://rss.jobsearch.monster.com/rssquery.ashx?brd=1&q=paralegal&cy=us&where=Portland&where=
OR&rad=20rad_units=miles&baseurl=jobview.monster.com#

Craigslist

Craigslist may not have the highest quality listings
in some areas, but it is a great site for searching for jobs. It is
easy to build a query, perform a search on craigslist location nearest
to you, and click on the RSS feed button at the bottom of the screen. It
will build an RSS feed URL you can paste into your reader, and
subscribe to. Here is an example RSS feed URL for an office assistant
job in Houston:
