New Haven, Conn. – BioRelix, a privately held, New Haven-based developer of drugs for fighting resistant microbes, has raised $2.6 million of convertible debt, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing on Wednesday. Founded in 2005, BioRelax began laboratory operations in 2007. The company’s discovery platform focuses on Riboswitches, which are a new class of targets for antibacterial drug discovery. The company raised $26 million in its first round of venture capital five years ago.
