Needham, Mass. – MedMinder Systems, the Needham-based maker of a wireless pill dispenser that reminds patients to take their medications, has raised $850,000 in venture capital, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing on Wednesday. MedMinder’s system provides beeps, phone alerts, emails, text messages, as well as remote monitoring and immediate notifications to caregivers. It also has data collection and refilling capabilities.
