What you will be doing:

- Increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. 
- Build products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. 
- Work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements, with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer, and with sales around product pricing and positioning. 
- Serve as the internal and external evangelist for our product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers.
- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to launch 
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. 
- Develop short and long term pricing, marketing, promotion and placement strategies that grow market share for new and existing products and working with all departments to execute.

What you need:

- 3+ years' of software marketing/product management experience
- Software product management experience in the alternative assets space is a plus!
- Have successful experience in developing and introducing new products, marketing strategies and customer value propositions in a highly competitive or high-tech arena. 
- Have excellent creative instincts, a deep understanding of technology and strong project management and analytical skills. 
- Be a proactive and entrepreneurial individual who will initiate action, build new business, maintain core businesses and achieve results in a changing environment. 
- Be a leader capable of building and managing a motivated team. 
- Be a strong communicator who can build consensus across multiple constituencies.
- Understanding of the financial services industry a plus. 
- Travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America and Europe (5%).
