Marketing Business Intelligence Content Director is responsible for scheduling, planning, and analysis of yield optimization initiatives and ROI analysis for site traffic originating from Client’s Display initiatives. Marketing Business Intelligence Content Director will also be an integral player in developing and implementing Client’s Display strategy. This includes optimizing yield as well as ensuring these sites deliver relevant content and a good user experience. The ideal candidate must be comfortable doing quantitative analysis of site and page performance.
This role will also manage social media campaigns across multiple disciplines and markets. This includes generating content for online communities, Facebook and Twitter, and running promotional campaigns to drive engagement. He/she will measure the impact of our social media programs to maximize results and will share insights gained with the Marketing and Editorial teams to help them evolve products and strategies. They will also run community events including virtual events/webinars, on-the-ground workshops and special events connected to Client initiatives. The Role will also manage Client’s special interest groups of instructors teaching with technology and execute campaigns to grow the network and leverage their voice within the Client community. They will also collect qualitative and quantitative data to speak to the efficacy of Client and leverage it to drive retention and build loyalty. This person will also collaborate with other departments to ensure successful training, implementation and ongoing support of our current user base.
This role also requires working closely with the business stakeholders (sales managers and business managers) to strategize and develop business intelligence solutions.
Director should have a thorough understanding of best practices for utilizing data from various data sources and implementing analytical reports and dashboards.
Additionally, the role requires developing metrics and providing decision support to sales and marketing.
RESPONSIBILITES:
· Work with business stakeholders to strategize and develop business intelligence solutions.
· Liaise and forge strong relationships with Client’s cross-technology groups.
· Compile and distribute sales, marketing and product information to analyze new business opportunities, track ongoing promotions and gather competitive intelligence.
· Design sales, tracking and sampling reports.
· Develop metrics and provide decision support to sales and marketing.
· Create and maintain documentation relating to design and implemented data solutions.
· Help design and develop systems to automate production of reports.
· Provide training and support
· Help to drive strategy on display advertising UI optimization to enhance revenue and campaign ROI.
Manage schedule and analysis of A/B tests designed to optimize revenue and user experience on landing pages.
· Own prioritizing testing schedule, coordination of releases with site engineering team, and analysis and recommendations based on test results.
· Analyze revenue impact of site changes and forecast revenue metrics for Client’s Display business
· Run competitive analyses to help identify global display monetization opportunities
· Stay on top of trends in online advertising and in online advertising product development.
· Identify and execute revenue strategy & monetization deals with revenue partners such as search engines, ad networks, affiliate partners, SME aggregators, etc.
· Further grow and manage distribution and audience generation partnerships with media, commerce and platform partners to increase reach and engagement.
· Identify and execute relevant content and data partnerships to build and enhance our platform.
· Manage and optimize our growing number of partners across deal types.
· Prioritize and identify new strategic opportunities.
· Build strategic relationships with executives from key partners in technology, media and e-commerce companies.
· Work closely with Marketing/PR to develop proposals and collateral for partnership acquisition and retention.
Work internally with senior leadership to define global strategy, culture and operations that drive the overall growth of the business.
· Deliver analysis of owned social media website traffic and behavioral data for key clients including monthly updates, yearly summaries and ad hoc requests
· Collaborate with the Customer Experience Managers to manage implementation and training programs.
SKILLS
· 4+ years working as a Content Director specializing in business intelligence.
· Bachelors in Information Science or Information Technology preferred.
· Experience working with Business Intelligence, Content, tools and software.
· Working knowledge of databases, data modeling and data analysis.
· Proven ability to derive meaning and business intelligence from data.
· Strong understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data design & reporting.
· Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology and using new applications.
· Possess excellent writing and oral communication skills; in particular must have ability to articulate complex ideas/solutions.
· Strong presentation as well as great interpersonal skills.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large amount of data.
· Must be proactive in meeting deadlines and be able to self-mange on assigned work.
· Software: MS Office (high proficiency in EXCEL) Visio, SharePoint, SQL, VB .Net
Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
