IT Telecom Manager with Cisco Experience Needed
Primary Responsibilities
•Manage Telecommunications Engineering and Operations teams that are geographically dispersed across North America
•Management responsibility for 2 managers, their teams and engineering resources
• Acquire and retain top associates
•Develop associates and position them to succeed
•Provide supervision for direct reports including hired services contractors
•Establish individual performance goals, review performance against goals and provide coaching for associate
•Ensure technical stability and performance as well as providing problem resolution management
•Maintain cross-functional business knowledge and established relationships with required business partners
•Ability to manage a high performing team in a matrix environment
Qualifications
Basic
• Bachelor's Degree required
•5 + years Cisco experience required
•5 – 8 years of strong management skills including managing remote teams with proven track record of delivery
•10+ years relevant work experience in telecommunications technology
•Experience in call center environment
•Strong oral, presentation, and written communication skills
•Customer Service oriented
•A proven track record of success in developing and managing large-scale, complex telecommunications infrastructures and related technologies
•Exceptional technical and inter-personal skills
•Management experience in developing associates and facilitating career development
•20% travel required US and Canada
