Triangle needs a Career Specialist needed in Malden, MA

Triangle has an immediate opening for a Career Specialist. The qualified candidate will provide assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and related barriers to employment in finding and maintaining community employment. 

Responsibilities include:

Develop job leads and build community partnerships 
Establish and maintain contacts with private industry employers.
Establish and maintain contacts with various state agencies.
Provide job coaching when necessary. Learn and then teach the client job tasks in conjunction with employing agency staff.
Monitor client's job performance, attitude, and behavior for appropriateness.
Provide support and assistance to employers once a client has been placed.
Responsible for writing accurate and timely monthly reports.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with state vendors
Develop and coordinate job seeking skills and work awareness programs for clients.
Attend Placement Meetings
Be able to work from our Malden and Beverly locations.
Train client in supportive skills and/or obtain supportive services that will enhance client's employability and vocational independence. (i.e. travel, training, benefits)
Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Career Services

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Service field with one year's experience in rehabilitation services. The degree may be substituted with three years employment in direct rehabilitation services. Must have valid Driver's License.
