Bedford, Mass. -- VideoIQ, a Bedford-based developer of video surveillance technology, announced on Monday it has raised $7.5 million in its third round of venture capital, which was led by Atlas Venture, Cisco, Matrix Partners and Tenaya Capital. Founded in 2006, VideoIQ offers IP surveillance cameras and encoders that include adaptive analytics, onboard video storage and large-scale video management. The company is now also offering high-definition surveillance, with “zero-bandwidth” recording.

 This person needs to be highly motivated, good with customers,  good 
with technology and  organized.  This is an exciting opportunity to play

entrepreneurs, technologists, and executives.
	 
	Responsibilities:
	Provide customer support in the installation and configuration of our 
industry leading ip camera and video server products.   This position 
requires answering support calls (during business hours) and helping 
customers with support issues.  You will work closely with the product 
development team in learning the product and in problem escalation and 
resolution.
	
	
Qualifications:
	
Required:
	
	
	Good knowledge of networking and configuration of routers and firewalls
	Solid problem solving skills
	Good communication skills
	Able to deal directly with customers in helping them solve their issues.
	Must be authorized to work in USA and be local to the Boston area
	Associates degree in a technical field
	3+ years experience with networking equipment – routers or switches
Helpful Experience/Knowledge:
	Experience with streaming video systems
	
	
	Experience with ip cameras
	Quality assurance experience
