Watertown-based Arsenal Medical Raises $12M and is Hiring!

Watertown, Mass. -- Arsenal Medical, a privately held biotechnology company focused on the development of therapeutic products, has raised $12 million in a venture capital deal, according to a new filing by the company with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Arsenal develops products based on its BioActive Composites, which are combinations of materials that provide targeted local and systemic therapies to treat chronic diseases and conditions. The company is a collaboration between the scientists George Whitesides and Bob Langer. Arsenal Medical employs over 30 people in a 27,000-square-foot facility in Watertown.
