Wilmington-based SensAble Technologies Raises $3.6M. Can hiring be far behind.

Wilmington, Mass. – SensAble Technologies, a Wilmington-based developer of 3D touch-enabled technology, has raised $3.6 million in a venture capital deal, according to a new filing by the company with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Founded in 1993, SensAble develops technology to “feel” on-screen computer applications through the use of “force feedback.” The technology is being used in surgical simulation and stroke rehabilitation, dental restorations, designing toys and footwear; as well as a range of research and robotic applications.
