Director of Product Management, Mobile Products

Synacor is seeking a Director of Product Management, Mobile Products who will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of Synacor's core product suite on Mobile platforms including phones & tablets. Require: 7-10+ years of technical product management experience with a variety of web and client-side mobile platforms, including BlackBerry, Android, iPhone, Java ME, Symbian, BREW, Windows Mobile, and/or the native operating systems of such platforms. Hands on experience in converting business objectives into product strategy, getting buy-in on strategy, converting strategy into product roadmaps and monetization of mobile products. Demonstrated success in the "product development process" and ability to bring structure to the process – from ideation to launch; on time and on budget. Strong understanding of the technology behind the products that he or she has managed. Must demonstrate a passion for consumer-oriented mobile products and services and be analytic, strategic and metrics oriented. An understanding of video trends including TV Everywhere is a huge plus.
