VP: Software Product Development - IT Services

We are searching for an executive to direct software product development for our publicly traded, high growth client headquartered in Washington, DC - full relocation paid. This role reports directly to the CIO. Require: Management of high-morale, high efficiency software product organizations with a minimum of 120+ employees. History of direct responsibility for structuring and managing rapid organizational growth - measured in terms of year over year growth in employee head count and new products developed. Experience designing and building software products in the Miscrosoft stack that are public-facing, high volume and distributed across multiple data centers. Please have substantial experience building products that support minimum of >50k concurrent users with minimum 25+ Terabytes of backend data - with intensive data call traffic.

Experience developing web applications with elegant, high performance, award-winning user interfaces. Experience managing the development of mobile applications, in particular iPhone and iPad. Experience working directly with C-Level executives (internal and external) to connect business and technical goals. Must have polished personal, verbal and written presentation skills. Must have an entrepreneurial mind-set and enjoy being proactively involved in setting company direction. Experience designing and maintaining robust customer feedback mechanisms that ensure rapid, accurate and high impact application enhancements. Outstanding references and a history of job stability. Candidates should have significant and current Microsoft (.NET) experience and a clear understanding of technical trends generally, and new MS technologies specifically.
