Head of Information Management –Process Solutions

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Evaluate, assemble, articulate IT Strategy that meets business needs in Sales and Marketing of a high performing Business Unit while managing to a high performing IT organization.

·       Develop, lead and manage all process improvement across company by managing and executing IT roadmap.

• Identifying and actively contributing business-related innovative services and system solutions.

·       Lead development of processes to support Strategy development through input from business leads, and IT leadership

·       Maintain overall understanding of business requirements change, practices, and technologies to ensure effective roadmap.

·        Manage budget and guide the development of budgets for IT organization.

·       Ensure effective risk management to ensure compliance with group policies.  

• Establishing and cultivating contacts with Leadership, Management and other key stakeholders in the business at strategic and operational level.


• Discussing the business problems strategically to define and derive the right Long Range Plan and solutions


• Presenting and promoting the range of IT services with the business 

Required Qualifications:

·       At least Twelve plus years responsible IT experience with at least three of years in a leadership role roles in manufacturing/quality domain, preferably in the life science industry.

·       Masters degree or equivalent either in Science, Engineering or  Business Management

·       3+ years defining IT Strategies for multi-country IT organization.

·       3+ years managing multi-disciplinary teams, including specialists.

·       Managing and negotiating vendor relationships in the delivery of change and IT services.

·       Prioritizing challenging decisions with senior business executives/managers

·       Leading and influencing substantial numbers of non-direct reports

·       Strong knowledge of the Life Sciences or consumer goods  industry especially product/Clinical development

·       Creative and resourceful to blend industry needs with business strategy to influence, enhance existing roadmap or develop new compelling plans and prioritize decisions.​

·       Effectively collaborates across multi-disciplinary teams to produce well thought out and innovative solutions – define, recommend, evangelize and develop initiatives – challenge the status quo and provide a fresh perspective.​

·       Ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, respond quickly to changing business needs/​timelines and complete quality assignments on time

·       Ability to establish priorities and maintain multiple priorities and tasks at one time

·       Good business acumen

·       English (written and spoken), and German (advantageous)

·       Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·       Good project management skills (ability to manage external consultants).

·       Strong communication skills.

·       Negotiation skills

·       Coordination capabilities and team spirit (ability to work in a cross-functional team).
