Lewiston, Maine – Carbonite, a Boston-based provider of online data backup services, announced on Tuesday it plans to open a customer support center in Lewiston, where it will eventually employ around 150 people by the end of the year and 250 people eventually. In 2010, Carbonite was ranked as the ninth fastest growing private company and the fastest growing IT services company by Inc. Magazine. The company said it will open its Lewiston customer support center this summer.
