Cambridge-based Crimson Hexagon Raises $5M and they are Hiring!

Cambridge, Mass. – Crimson Hexagon, a Cambridge-based provider of online consumer opinion research technology, has raised $5 million in its second round of venture capital from Charles F. Dolan, founder and chairman of Cablevision Systems, the company announced on Tuesday. Founded in 2007 based on technology developed at Harvard University’s Institute for Quantitative Social Science, Crimson Hexagon’s technology is designed to provide a view of how online consumers think about a brand or issue. The company’s new funding will be used to support accelerated product development as well as its subscription growth within the media, financial services, public affairs, health and life science sectors.
