Thumbs Up: February had 3.1M job openings, but hiring rate hardly changed.

was issued today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Highlights are below.

There were 3.1 million job openings on the last business day
of February, an increase from 2.7 million in January. The
hires rate (3.0 percent) and separations rate (2.9 percent)
were little changed over the month.
