Westminster's TechPrecision Gets $2M Order for Solar Wafer Equipment

Westminster, Mass. – TechPrecision, a Westminster-based manufacturer of components and systems for customers in the alternative energy, cleantech, medical, nuclear, defense, aerospace and other commercial industries, announced that it has received orders with a combined value of about $2 million for solar equipment to support solar wafer production. The orders will be filled by TechPrecision’s subsidiary, Ranor Inc. and its China-based subsidiary, Wuxi Critical Mechanical Components Co. The orders are expected to ship by the end of the third quarter of calendar 2011.
