Technology Manager needed in Publishing in Burlington, VT
Our client, located near Burlington Vermont, is seeking a Technology Manager to supervise the Publishing Technology Development and IT departments.
Must
have strong management experience leading the successful completion of
technology projects; XML workflows, new media, and customer facing web
enabled publishing tools; development and maintenance of scientific,
technical and medical content delivery solutions for mobile devices,
such as iPhone, iPad, Android.
A
strong background in Microsoft SQL and .NET, along with experience
and/or knowledge of PERL, C#, Visual Basic, and knowledge of both MAC
and PC operating systems is highly desired.
Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field is required.
Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of five years supervisory
experience leading software development projects, ideally in an STM
publishing environment.
