Thumbs Down: US DOL reports hiring unchanged in November

The latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey news release

was issued today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Highlights are below.

There were 3.2 million job openings on the last business day
of November 2010. The job openings rate was little changed
over the month at 2.4 percent. The hires rate and
separations rate were essentially unchanged at 3.2 percent
each.
