The latest County Employment and Wages news release

was issued today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Highlights are below.

Yolo, Calif., and Marion, Fla., each had the biggest over-the-year percentage
decrease in employment, -3.7 percent in June 2010; nationally, employment declined
by 0.2 percent. Santa Clara, Calif., had the largest increase in average weekly
wages in the second quarter of 2010, 10.6 percent, compared with a national increase
of 3.0 percent.
