Job Summary: 
This position within Systems Services is part of a team that has primary responsibility for providing technology-based tools and services in support of MathWorks’ internal and external collaboration initiatives. This person will be working with team members in Natick as well as with colleagues located in worldwide offices (via remote communication tools). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
• Provide recording, broadcasting and file production support for the Marketing Webinar program. This includes in-studio support, scheduling, account administration, troubleshooting, lab equipment maintenance and acting as technical liaison between Marketing, SSG and vendor. 
• Install, configure and troubleshoot collaboration related infrastructure and applications: Webinar lab equipment, room/desktop VC, sound systems, WebEx, editing and broadcasting software, TVs and other tools and all cabling and peripherals related to them. 
• Maintain all equipment in good working order and escalate complex problems to colleagues or vendors for support and product enhancements 
• Create, manage and maintain content (audio, video recording files, webinars) for supported events 
• Participate in the production support for large-scale events such as company quarterly meetings, departmental meetings, advisory board meetings, Sales kick-off, partner seminars, career fairs and other on-site, off-site and virtual events. 
• Participate in the development and implementation of procedures, proposals and guidelines for various areas of operations within the group 
• Roll out documentation, training and guidance to Frontline and worldwide IT staff, Office Services and other support colleagues 
• Publish and maintain solutions and Knowledgebase articles 
• Participate in IT projects for product evaluations, implementations, upgrades and integrations

Responsibilities: 
(1) Program Support- Provide recording, broadcasting and file production support for the Marketing Webinar program. Coordinate work and lab schedules with Marketing Programs and worldwide IT staff. Communicate effectively with Webinar presenters. Document technical procedures, promote worldwide consistency of processes and support practices. 

(2) Event Support- Provide audio video and meeting support for internal and customer facing events. Create, manage and maintain content (audio, video recording files, webinars). Plan and coordinate work with outside vendors. Must communicate well with internal and external event organizers, elicit complete and correct requirements, set clear expectations and negotiate the best terms for services provided by vendors. Must manage risks associated with tight deadlines, outside venues, third party vendors, new or unfamiliar technologies, non MathWorks event participants and presenters and other non-routine situations. 

3) Technical Support - Service customer requests for audio and visual support issues via the phone, email and in person. Must be resourceful, display good judgment, excellent decision-making, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills, and show empathy for the user community. Must act as the ‘face and voice’ of SSG when resolving issues and at the same time must be an advocate for the user. Must operate well within the team and also be able to work independently. 

4) Infrastructure Administration and Support- Install, configure, maintain and administer infrastructure that supports collaboration tools. Manage inventory life cycle, plan capacity, review usage and allocate resources as appropriate. Maintain the A/V, V/C and WebEx hardware and applications in good working order.
