Thumbs Up: 19 states show decrease in unemployment in October.

The latest Regional and State Employment and Unemployment news release

was issued today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Highlights are below.

In October, 19 states and the District of Columbia registered
over-the-month unemployment rate decreases, 14 states recorded
increases, and 17 states had no change. Nonfarm payroll employment
increased in 41 states and the District of Columbia, decreased in
6 states, and was unchanged in 3 states.
