Biggest drop in employment: Collier, FL Largest increase in wages: NYC (for March 2010)

Collier, Fla., had the biggest over-the-year percentage decrease in
employment, -6.0 percent in March 2010; nationally, employment
declined by 2.1 percent. New York, N.Y., had the largest increase in
average weekly wages in the first quarter of 2010, 11.9 percent,
compared with a national increase of 0.8 percent.

 

The latest County Employment and Wages news release

was issued today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Highlights are below.
