Project Accountant — Federal Contracts Environment; perm opportunity in Cambridge, MA

CSC, in support of the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, is seeking a Project Accountant (PA) to support the program control function. The PA will work with the following functions: Accounts payable work flow, invoice creation, budget forecasting, variance analysis, labor corrections, booking accruals, cost funds status reporting, booking revenue, handling intercompany work orders, creating purchase requisitions, managing costs on hold, understanding ceiling rates, working with the government's accounting system and managing subcontractor costs. The environment is fast paced and dynamic.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Previous work experience in federal/defense/transportation industry helpful
• Advanced computer skills with knowledge of the Deltek suite of products (Cost Point, Cognos, Impromptu) EPMS, Lotus Notes preferred; ability to learn via on-line training
• Exceptionally strong with excel, pivot tables, v-lookups
• Must be able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and be able to multi-task and manage project details
• Team player who is flexible and adaptable with strong communication skills

US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) required and must be clearable for position of Public Trust.
