All over the world, we experience tremendous growth in the sales of our high quality NGS data analysis solutions. We plan to maintain this growth by doubling our sales force within the next few years. Therefore, looking for several experienced sales professional in both Europe and USA. We prioritize your drive, energy, skills and experience, geographical location is less important.

You will be responsible for sales to a range of local, regional and global accounts in collaboration with colleagues and external sales partners. In our sales activities we focus on face-time with customers and you are expected to have at least 10 to 15 on site meetings a month.

Responsibilities

• Identifying prospective customers


• Follow-up on pre-qualified leads identified and forwarded by CLC bio staff from Internet downloads and trade shows


• Participation in trade shows


• Performing internet based- and on-site product demonstrations


• Prospecting, negotiating and closing sales leads for bioinformatics software and hardware solutions to customers in pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical, and academic sectors


• Working with various global sales staff, support staff, NGS instrument vendors, external sales partners to ensure continuity in closing large business deals

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of solid experience with either (a) sale of software and services, preferably bioinformatics software, and/or (b) sale of Next Generation Sequencing instruments


• A proven track record of prospecting and closing complex licensing deals with top tier pharma, biotech, government and academic institutions


• Experience in negotiating and closing six figure licensing deals. History of above average quota sales


• Experience in planning, management, and execution of large scale solution selling


• Relevant Rolodex of contacts within customer segments. Major pharmaceutical and biotech account knowledge and experience preferred


• Scientific background in molecular biology or other natural science is preferred. Some formal business knowledge and training helpful


• Excellent customer service skills, enthusiastic attitude, and solid work ethics
