Andover, Mass. - SiGe Semiconductor, an Andover-based maker of semiconductors for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications, has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for its initial public offering of stock to raise an expected $143 million, approximately. Founded in 1996, SiGe makes products that are used in computing, home entertainment, networking, and mobile applications. The company's revenue fell from $96 million in 2008 to $83 million in 2009. SiGe has never made a profit since its inception 14 years ago.
