4 Senior Positions Open at Chicago Public Schools

Four Senior-level positions with the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) are open. We are looking for three Directors and one Program Administrator for one of the most innovative departments at CPS – the Office of Academic Enhancement. The mission of the Office of Academic Enhancement (OAE) is as follows:

All of Chicago’s children and their families deserve access to high quality Options for Knowledge that meet their unique learning needs and interests. OAE provides a variety of magnet and selective enrollment schools and programs, and manages the student assignment process.  OAE is dedicated to creating diverse learning communities that benefit all students by preparing them to live in a diverse society and to compete in the global economy specifically through choice, equity, innovation and service.

Choice: Increasing educational options for parents

Equity: Ensuring that all students have access to OAE schools and programs

Innovation: Providing schools and programs that are designed to meet unique student needs, interests, and skill levels

Service: Providing information, support and services to a variety of stakeholders utilizing a service oriented approach with a commitment to excellence.
