EClinicalWorks is moving to larger HQ in Westborough

EClinicalWorks said it is planning to move to larger headquarters in Westborough early next year to accommodate its growth.

Privately held, eClinicalWorks is focused on the ambulatory clinical systems market, and the company said it has purchased 100,000 square feet of office space at 2 Technology Drive. The purchase price is not being disclosed. The company's current headquarters is 112 Turnpike Rd., also in Westborough. About 500 employees work at 112 Turnpike Rd., an eClinicalWorks spokeswoman said.

To support its growth - the company's annual revenues exceeded $100 million for the first time in 2009 - eClinicalWorks is planning to hire an additional 100 to 200 people in Westborough over the next 12 months, and larger quarters were needed, the spokeswoman said.

EClinicalWorks said it was assisted in the transaction by the real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle. EClinical Works has additional offices in New York, California, and Georgia.
