471,000, an increase of 25,000 from the previous week's revised figure of

I think that the high enemployment rate is the pits. I have been unemployed since Dec. 24th of 2009, and I have been trying to find a job ever since, but so far I haven't managed to have the luck.

Carol,

What are some of the things you're doing to stay current?  Are you temping?  Doing contract work?  Going to school?  I'm wondering if there's any suggestions you'd have for others to keep motivated.

Best,
Dan.
