The Most Important Thing

I led an exercise at the ValleyWorks Networking Group recently called "The Most Important Thing."  In the exercise, job seekers fill out index cards with the most important things for them.  Then they throw away half, then half that, until they are left with only 2 cards.  They then have to throw away one of the two, and are left with the most important thing.  Of the 60+ people in the room, only 2 had "get a job."  Most had family, some had God. 

Orient your life around your most important thing.
