Job Description:

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and
systems that are part of a next generation software product using
Microsoft's .NET development environment. Job includes all aspects of
software development from creating functional specifications and design
documents, code implementation, defect resolution and testing of application
software. Be a part of a global software team to working on software
development applications. Determines applications needs; analyzes system
capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements,
input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares
operating instructions. Ensures software standards and processes are met.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Creation of instrument driver plug-ins. This includes Windows Presentation
Foundation (WPF) based user interface code, C# based application server
business logic, C# based instrument control software and a creation of
database entries.

Creation and maintenance of the infrastructure required to host the
instrument driver plug-ins and other acquisition areas such as
administrative functions. This includes Windows Presentation Foundation
(WPF) based user interface code, C# based application server business logic,
C# based instrument management software and database development.

Qualifications:
Education
o B.S. Computers Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Work experience
o 2-4 Years .NET and C# experience required (WCF and WPF experience
preferred).
o 1-2 Years development experience with scientific applications and/or
instrument control is required.
o Good understanding of database concepts desired (Oracle experience
preferred.) 
o Has worked as part of a large software organization.
o Full software development life-cycle experience preferred.

o Excellent interpersonal skills (both oral and written).
o Good time management skills and ability to work independently is required.
