Cambridge-based Sun Catalytix Raises $1 Million. See their jobs!
From New England Tech Wired | Nov 23, 2009
Cambridge, Mass. -- Sun Catalytix, a
Cambridge-based developer of distributed energy storage technology, announced
on Monday that has received a third seed financing injection from Polaris
Venture Partners. The company also said it has exclusively licensed a
portfolio of water-splitting catalysis patents from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology (MIT). The licensed patents are central to Sun Catalytix energy
storage technology, which stores renewable energy in the form of chemical bonds
to allow distributed, round-the-clock use of solar- and wind-derived energy.
The company said it is now recruiting key members of its start-up team,
including a CEO.
