When
was the last time you hung-up the phone and thought to yourself "I'm
glad that person called, every time he/she calls he makes me: laugh or
smile, encourages me, or helps me view things from a more positive
perspective"? Too long? Physicians have been touting the stress
reducing benefits of a positive outlook and laughter for many years.
There are certain people, in each of our lives, which we love to talk
with because we feel better each and every time we do. They lift our
spirits and help us frame our issues in a much more productive manner.
Whenever we receive an email from them or the caller I.D. pops-up their
name, we immediately open open the email or answer the phone because we
need their shot of B-12. They make us feel better by having a positive
impact upon us. Do you know someone like that? Don't you just feel
great about that person? Aren't they someone you just love to interact
with? Are you one of those people?
I belive that part of our purpose in life
is to inspire and encourage others. A great legacy in which to aspire
would be to have lifted many along your journey. Some of the best
professions in which to serve such a noble calling include: minister,
teacher, and sales person. Can you imagine how much more you could
help your customers if they actually needed a shot of your personal
B-12? We all get down and discouraged at times and none of us wnat to
stay there long. You can develop the ability to encourage and
motivate. The skill lays not so much in the technique as it does in your intent. So the next time before you communicate with your customer or prospect remember to weave some encouragement into your purpose.
Develop a strong B-12 formula:
Cheerful spirit: let them know that you are truly happy to be speaking with them. They will feel welcomed.
Contagious energy:
all matter is made of energy & people perceive your energy even if
they are not cognoscente of where the sense is derived.
Powerful faith: belief in yourself combined with the trust to take action instills hope and conviction in others to follow.
Whitewater momentum:
a strong current of positive force is joined by all. Your customers
will enjoy the lift, walk a little liter, and pass it on to others.
