Rally and March for Jobs and a Real Economic Recovery

What is the Rally About and Why are We Having It?

October
1st is the one-year anniversary of the Wall Street bail out. The
government gave hundreds of billions of dollars to save the banks and
insurance companies, but where are the jobs? There is no time like the
present to demand a just future. We the people should want to regain
control of our economy, our politics, and our government. Starting this
week, several events in Boston will provide opportunities to discuss
and learn how we can bring an end to corrupt politics and rebuild our
broken economy from the bottom up, and last but not least, make our
voices matter. Many local organizations are working hard to make these
events a success; please come out and bring your friends!

Find out more by visiting the Boston ANWF group page
or starting one for MA. Our Boston group will be having planning
meetings for discussion and learning more about change Boston cares
about that doesn't depend on DC. Help pass out our "No New Powers for the Fed" petition because we proactively want to reform the Fed.  Change the system, act locally.

  • Hyatt's rooms are full, yet they replace their house keeping staff with sub contractors

  • Harvard has billions of dollars in its endowment, yet they want to cut the lowest paid workers.

  • Verizon made billions in profits last year, but the company wants to reduce its workforce by 16,000 people!

...and the list rolls on of working people facing layoffs and
reductions in their hours while fat cat CEOs continue make their
multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses.

Join the fight against a jobless recovery and for an economy that works for everyone.
