PROGRAM AND OUTREACH/ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR in Worcester MA

The Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts is the fundraising,
planning and coordinating body for the Jewish community.

As part of its mandate it seeks to provide opportunities for the
many diverse segments of the community to connect in a meaningful way
that meet the needs of their particular interests. Several pilot
programs are now underway that are attempting to connect some of these
populations to the greater community. A program geared toward meeting
the needs of young Jewish families, reaching out to the 25-35 year old
age group through social networking etc. and developing strategies to
engage other groups.In addition the staff person will support the newly
created consortium WCMC (Worcester Central Massachusetts Connection) to
assist and support ongoing and new initiatives to help those who are
unemployed, underemployed or who have been negatively impacted by the
current economic environment.

JFCM and WCMC are jointly seeking a part-time staff person to work
three (3) days per week under the direct supervision of the Executive
Director of the JFCM with project supervision from WCMC. Hours may
increase with increase in work and funding. Some evening work will be
required.
