Dedham-Based Sonian Raises $5.6 Million in First Round. See their jobs!

Dedham, Mass.
-- Sonian, a Dedham-based provider of online data management services,
said on Tuesday that it has raised $5.6 million in its first round of funding
from Prism VentureWorks and Summerhill Venture Partners. The
company said that it will use the proceeds to expand its marketing and
engineering efforts. Company founder Greg Arnette previously served as
the CTO of messaging management firm IntelliReach, which was acquired by
Infocrossing. He launched Sonian in 2007, aiming to develop cloud-based
software that could help companies better deal with ever-increasing data
management and archiving demands.
